It’s extremely disheartening to report the public toilets in Rivervalley have been vandalised for a fourth time.
The public toilets, that have been brought back into action following three previous acts of vandalism, were set on fire again on Wednesday.
The facilities that have only been in service a matter of months following the completion of the new all-weather pitch and car park have been under repeated attack from vandals.
Cllr Ian Carey said:
“There is a small number of people who seem determined to wreak havok in our public parks. It simply cannot be allowed to continue. We need a doubling down of efforts to police the area and CCTV installed to make sure there is at least some deterrant for those who want to destroy our public amenities.”
