Removal of parking spaces, tabletop ramps, and a new school zone crossing at Fingal Community College are planned for Chapel Lane, St Colmcilles Drive and Seatown Road.
This plan, which is currently out for public consultation, is a response to the plans to close the end of Seatown Road near North Street for 24 months which is needed to facilitate the construction of the Swords Cultural Quarter and the new apartment blocks.
You can make submissions and comment on the new plan through the Fingal Consultation Portal until May 6th. Click here to visit the webpage.

“I’m encouraging people to take a close look at what is planned here.
“It is fantastic that the Swords Cultural Quarter is moving forward at pace but the next few years will lead to significant disruption around Swords. If you use this road regularly, look at the maps and try and identify issues that can be resolved. We can’t avoid the disruption but any suggestions to make it run more smoothly is very welcome.”
