The old Harp Bar on North Street Swords has been given a new lease of life reopening as K Sixty Seven.
Under new ownership, K Sixty Seven has seen a major refit with the multi-level aspect of the old bar dismantled to create one open space at ground level.
A key feature of the new refurbishment is a glass floor at one section which provides views into a wine cellar below.
Cllr Ian Carey said:
“Having worked in the old Harp, and he old old Harp before it, I was very interested to see what they had done with the place.
“They have done an excellent job. It’s clear the new owners have put a big investment behind it and it is great to see. I’m very glad to see it continuing to trade as a bar, as its important to keep our hospitality businesses and make sure Swords is a vibrant place to come and visit. I wish them all the best in the years ahead.”
