Swords will be linked with rural villages and Balbriggan in an expanded 192 service from February 19th.
Ballyboughal, Oldtown, Stamullen, The Naul and Balbriggan will be connected to Swords with ten services a day.
It’s a major expansion of the existing 192 service from Stamullen to Balbriggan and is the first time some of the rural villages have been conneced with public transport.
This new service is part of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan which is a major national public transport initiative developed and funded by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as part of the Transport for Ireland (TFI) Network.

“It is really great to see the expansion of services to the rural villages. It will help people to access services in the major towns in a convenient and sustainable way. The new services offers increased frequency and capacity, with buses running seven days a week.”
