Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) are advertising for Programme Director and Head of Procurement for Metrolink.
The plan to bring the project to the next phase is getting underway as key leadership roles have been advertised with a deadline of the 28th of November.
TII are expecting to attract international interest in the roles and they are preparing to pay relocation costs as part of the salary.
There is no listed salary for the Programme Director role but the Head of Procurement & Contracts will be set at Deputy Secretary grade, which equates to around €200k.
Cllr Ian Carey said:
“It’s great to see recruitment for the delivery phase of the Metrolink project begin. It shows the project is moving forward and I’m hopeful that the deadline for breaking ground will still be 2025.
“Swords has been preparing for years for the Metrolink so any news of progress is welcome. We can’t have any more delays in this essential project.”
