Did you know, Ireland has some of the best supports for homeowners to retrofit their properties in Europe?
Whether you want a full retrofit of your home, or support to do a smaller home efficiency job, there are grants and low-cost loans to help make it happen.
A public information meeting is happening on Thursday April 25th in the Carnegie Court Hotel between 6pm and 8pm where you can speak to experts on home efficiency upgrades.
It will feature speakers from SEAI One-stop-shop House2Home and Members First Credit Union, who can provide Green Loans for home efficiency work.
Cllr Ian Carey said:
“I’m often asked by homeowners about what is available to help them make their homes more energy efficient.
In the last three years, the grants that are available to improve the efficiency of your home have increased significantly, as well as the new low-cost loan scheme which has just been made available in recent months.
“There is plenty of support to help you make your home warmer and lower your bills, that’s why I encourage people to attend this meeting which will help you start the process.”
