Native trees will be available for free in Swords this weekend as part of National Tree Week.
Young Alder, Hawthorn and Birch will be given out to the public at the Ward River Valley this Saturday (March 26th) between 9.30am and 12noon.
The trees will be handed out next to the Swords Manor playing pitches.
Fingal County Council are also encouraging people to take a picture of your tree when it is planted and to let them know via their social media channels.
Across the county, the council will be distributing 16,000 tree whips during tree week.
