A preliminary draft of the new Ward River Valley Regional Park will be unveiled to the public next Wednesday.
An online Webinar will take place next Wednesday, April 26th, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, where the draft plan will be explained.
This will mark the start of the second phase of the community consultation on the future development of the Ward River Valley Regional Park.
This will be followed by an in person design development display at the Chapel at Swords Castle on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th April.
Cllr Ian Carey said:
“It will be very interesting to see what makes it into the first draft of the plan.
“We know from what has been mentioned by the Chief Executive that consideration is being given to a recreation hub in the Swords Manor area.
“Also I would like to see strong nature protections for the new part of the park as well as building stronger cycling and walking links across and through the valley.”
