Fingal County Council are asking clubs and community groups to apply to be part of the Swords St Patrick’s Day parade.
The parade which has attracted thousands of spectators needs community support and if you are interested in joining in the fun and pagentry, now is the time to apply.
Particular attention is being given this year to try and animate the parades by more creative and artistic ways.
Cllr Ian Carey said:
“It’s great to see so many people out at the Swords parade each year. Young people in particular get such at kick out of dressing up and taking part. This year we are looking forward to more floats and music in the Swords parade which will really add to the festivities.
