This year the Mayor’s Awards will honour individuals who go to extraordinary lengths for their communities.
These are people making a positive contribution to their local community and are inspiring others to do the same. They could be an older person proving that age is not a barrier to giving back to others, somebody who is helping make a positive impact on sports or the environment in their local area, or someone whose dedication to Irish is raising the profile of the language throughout Fingal.

When is the closing date for nominations?
The closing date for submissions is 5pm on Thursday 20th April 2023.
Who will judge the awards?
An independent panel with extensive experience in community development will judge the awards.
Who will receive and award?
From the nominations, 24 will be selected by the panel to receive a prize.
When will they receive it?
A gala awards event will then take place on the evening of Thursday 1st June 2023 to which all 24 award winners will be invited.
