The campaign to stop excessive aircraft noise are holding a protest at Fingal County Council offices next Monday, during the council meeting.
The protest is being organised by FORUM (Fingal Organised Residents United Movement) and Fingal and Meath East Residents Groups and aims to pressure Fingal County Council to stop the DAA breaching their planning conditions.
The aim DAA planning breaches being highlighted by the protest are:
- Exceeding the 65 flights per night cap
- Operating flight paths not in line with the environmentally assessed paths listed in their planning conditions.
- On target to exceed their 32m annual passenger quota as they did in 2019.
The protest will take place at Fingal County Hall, Swords Main St. on Monday September 11th between 5,30pm and 7.30pm, when the county council meeting is in session.
